Privacy Policy

Simple, honest, and straight to the point, just like Hypackel.

The Short Version

Hypackel does not intentionally collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number unless you contact us directly. Like most websites, our servers may automatically collect limited technical information to help operate and improve the site.

Who We Are

Hypackel is a game discovery website that helps Android users find the best games worth playing. We handpick games across every genre and link directly to the official Google Play Store. That’s the whole business: no APKs, no file hosting, no data collection.

This Privacy Policy explains exactly what happens when you visit, what we collect (spoiler: almost nothing), and what your rights are as a visitor.

What We Actually Know About You

When you browse, our server may automatically log some basic technical information. Here’s what you can expect, along with what isn’t included:

  • Browser Type: We know if something is broken on a specific browser.
  • Device Type: Mobile, tablet, or desktop  nothing more specific.
  • Pages Visited: Which game pages or sections you looked at.
  • General Location: Limited to your city or country and never includes your exact address.
  • Referral Source: How you found Hypackel (Google, direct, etc.).

That’s it. We do NOT collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information, unless you contact us directly through our Contact page.

What We Do With That Information

The basic technical data we collect is used for one purpose only  making our website better. Specifically:

  • Understanding which games and genres visitors are most interested in.
  • Identifying and fixing technical issues or broken pages.
  • Improving website speed and performance.
  • Understanding where our visitors come from so we can serve them better.

Nothing sinister. Nothing sneaky. We look at the numbers, fix what’s broken, and add more games people want to see.

How Long We Keep It

Server logs and basic technical data are retained for no longer than 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted. If you contact us directly, we keep your message only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.

Third-Party Services

Hypackel uses a small number of trusted third-party services to keep the website running  such as our hosting provider and content delivery network (CDN). These services may process limited technical information solely to deliver and maintain our site. They are not allowed to access or use your information for their own benefit.

If additional third-party services are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect that.

Google Play Store Links

Every single game on our site takes you directly to the official Google Play Store. The moment you click that download button, you leave Hypackel and enter Google’s platform.

Once you’re on Google Play, our website has zero control, zero visibility, and zero responsibility for what happens. What Google collects during your download is entirely between you and Google. We recommend reviewing Google’s Privacy Policy if you’d like to know more.

We do not partner with, receive compensation from, or share data with Google in relation to your activity on their platform.

Our Cookie Policy

We may use basic cookies to keep the website running properly. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Essential Cookies Only: These help the site function as expected.
  • No Tracking Cookies: We don’t use cookies to monitor your activity on other websites.
  • No Advertising Cookies: We don’t run ads, so there are no ad cookies.
  • No Third-Party Profiling: We don’t build a profile of who you are.

You have the option to disable cookies using your browser’s settings whenever you choose. Doing so may affect how some parts of Hypackel function, but the core experience of browsing and discovering games will remain intact.

We Don’t Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties, for any reason, at any price. The basic technical data we collect is used internally only and is never passed on to advertisers, data brokers, or any external parties.

  • No selling to advertisers or marketing companies.
  • No sharing with data brokers.
  • No transferring to partners or affiliates.
  • No use for targeted advertising of any kind.

Information may only be disclosed when required by law, or when necessary to protect our legal rights or prevent fraud.

Kids & Young Visitors

This is a general-audience website open to everyone who loves Android games. Protecting children’s privacy is important to us, and we do not knowingly receive personal information from children under 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take immediate steps to remove it.

Your Privacy Rights

Since we collect almost no personal data, there’s very little to exercise rights over. But here’s what you can do:

  • Ask What We Have: Reach out and we’ll tell you exactly what (if anything) we hold.
  • Request Deletion: If you’ve contacted us and want your message deleted, just ask.
  • Opt Out of Cookies: Manage this directly through your browser settings.
  • Contact Us Anytime: If something feels off, our Contact page is always open.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (European Union) or CCPA (California, USA). We respect those rights and will respond to any valid request promptly.

If Anything Changes

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, we’ll update the Last Updated date at the top of this page. That’s your signal that something’s new. We won’t send you an email about it  because, again, we don’t have your email.

We don’t plan on making major changes here. Our approach to privacy is pretty simple: collect as little as possible, use what we collect responsibly, and never sell anything to anyone.

Still Have Questions?

If something here doesn’t make sense or you have a concern about your privacy, we’re happy to help. Head over to the Contact page and we’ll get back to you.
