Football gets wonderfully chaotic in A Small World Cup, in this you control a tiny ragdoll player instead of a conventional football team. Your character can be launched through the air to make contact with the ball, defend the goal, or create unexpected scoring opportunities. Because movement is driven by physics, even a simple kick can produce surprising results and turn a seemingly safe play into a goal.
More than one competitive route is available to players. A Small World Cup includes seven different competitions and a selection of 98 teams. Giving you plenty of tournament combinations to explore. The regular mode lets you guide your chosen team through a competition, while Golden Goal changes the pace completely by making the first goal the winner. Practice mode is available when you want to work on your control without playing through a full tournament.
The retro presentation gives the matches a distinctive 8-bit look, while ten different stadiums provide variety between games. You can also choose between 45- and 90-second match durations and adjust the difficulty to Easy, Normal, or Hard. A rough tournament with one team often plays out completely differently with another. Thanks to the random draws, and the saved stats mean you can actually see whether you’re getting better at controlling the chaos or just getting lucky.
