Maleficent’s curse has left the park in ruins, and rebuilding it means welcoming back nearly 500 characters from Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars one attraction at a time. Players complete missions, restore rides, and bring familiar faces back to a kingdom that badly needs them. As the park develops, new areas and activities become available for visitors to enjoy.
Park management is at the heart of the experience. You can place and upgrade attractions, decorate different sections, and build a layout that reflects your own style. The game features more than 250 attractions inspired by real Disney parks, including recognizable locations such as Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and It’s a Small World. Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars themes also add attractions and decorations inspired by characters and movies.
Characters are another major part of Disney Magic Kingdoms. Players can collect characters and work through more than 1,500 quests that follow their individual storylines. Heroes and villains can both appear throughout the kingdom, with characters such as Mickey Mouse, Elsa, Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Ursula, Gaston, Scar, and Jafar bringing different missions and interactions to the park.
Cars, Star Wars, and dozens of other franchises keep showing up in the kingdom because a park built only around the oldest Disney classics would leave out exactly the characters most new players actually recognize.
